Donna Summer Dead At Age 63

Legendary singer Donna Summer has died at the age of 63. She passed away this morning after battling cancer for years. It has been confirmed by the family of Donna Summer that she did indeed loose her battle with lung cancer. TMZ was first to break the story and revealed that the amazing singer was in Florida at the time of her death. She is survived by her singer and producer Bruce Sudano; their daughters, Brooklyn and Amanda; and Summer’s daughter, Mimi, from a previous marriage. I don?t know about you but I was unaware that Summer was battling lung cancer and according to TMZ that is exactly how she wanted it. Reportedly Donna did not want to let the world know the extent of her illness. In fact there are reports that the ?Last Dance? singer was actually trying to get a new album finished in the weeks leading up to her death.
