Ignacio Mieres says he is looking forward to getting the season under way with new club Worcester.
The Argentine recently joined the club from Exeter and is expected to be Dean Ryan's first-choice fly-half following the departures of Andy Goode and Joe Carlisle.
Worcester have had a difficult time of it in the last few years and only narrowly avoided relegation last term, finishing just ahead of London Welsh.
However, with a number of new arrivals at the club, Mieres is confident they will turn a corner in the upcoming season and is already enjoying his change of scenery.
"You can feel the good vibes around the squad," the Argentine international told the Worcester News. "The club is, in a certain way, rebuilding itself because of so many new coaches and new players.
"They want something different and to be really successful and you can see by the hard work everyone is putting in that it's what people really want. The guys look like a really good bunch, they look really tight."
